What is iSAN?
iSAN (iSPUR Accelerator Network) is a program aimed at cultivating, stimulating and perpetuating entrepreneurship among unattached rural youth within Jamaica and the Diaspora. We provide them with the necessary resources, expertise and guidance to create and grow their businesses or establish their business idea.
Why We Do It
We believe youth are the ultimate economic drivers. Social and economic prosperity can be achieved by investing in youth-owned businesses with sustainable growth potential. The name iSPUR from our acronym iSAN is derived from the term “Spur” when referring to the encouragement of someone, which inevitably causes rapid growth. Our program does just that.
How We Do It
We leverage our vast network of companies to establish partnerships so they can provide their expertise and contribute resources. iSAN assists youth entrepreneurs with accessing capital by connecting them to investors and organizations whose objectives are to build small businesses. iSAN’s objectives are achieved through:
