Within another 3 months, he was awarded as “Top Performer of the Year” and later promoted to Head of Corporate Social Responsibility.  He is also the Marketing Director of Somers Furnishing, a family business and the largest furniture manufacturer on the North Coast of Jamaica.

Since attending university and the Moneague College, he has been involved in several activities that have helped hone skills he finds useful today. He has represented the Moneague College in National Debating Competitions on several occasions and as a Bassist for the college’s band at the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission finals. Mr. Somers is considered a generalist for his many useful skills in virtually every capacity within our organization.
